ROAR Professional Development Certificate

The ROAR Professional Development certificate is an innovative optional certificate program offered through the Department of Management & Marketing at Fort Hays State University. It is designed to enhance student engagement, learning, and professional success.  Students seeking to earn this certificate will successfully complete a series of relevant course-work and extra-curricular activities to achieve increased awareness and skills associated with a professional business career. Activities and learning opportunities span across all four years of a typical undergraduate student’s academic career. These challenges include mock employment interviews, development of a personal marketing plan, workshops on professional appearance and dinner etiquette, and the development of an electronic portfolio of academic and professional accomplishments for use during an employment search.
