General Description:
Open Educational Resources (OERs) are openly licensed media and documents that can be used for instructional purposes. Open educational materials are freely accessible online that requires no solicitation for permission or copyright clearance. During this workshop, we will discuss how OERs can be used to enhance your courses.
After this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the nature of open educational resources movement
- Locate popular open educational resources databases
- Filter open resources results by instructional activity and media format
